Divine Femininity

Dear Tarot Friends

As we explore our Feminine Divine selves we come to understand that all divinity has roots. The Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine resides in all of us. The one can not exist without the other....Shiva Shakti Power. The Sun and the Moon. This Masculine and Feminine energy brings balance to each other.

The Divine Feminine energy focuses on our creative energy, our nurturing energy, our desire for companionship, healing and peace.

The Feminine Divine roots keep us grounded and allows us to grow, like a tree, we can express the different branches by the expression of dance, singing, playing a musical instrument or story telling. I feel that it is important to find a platform that resonates within your spirit. Remember we need to feel comfortable to flow within our unique experience. Our attention spans can sometimes be limited. Therefore its important to find an expressive outlet that suites you.

I am able to reconcile this expression of thought by imagining the kalpavriksha tree, depicted in the picture as a reflection of the difference and sameness of Feminine Divine and the Masculine Divine. Both sides are intertwined. We are both.

By embracing our Feminine Divine selves, we take a honest inventory and we reflect on our thoughts, our behavior- are we compassionate, are we loving, are we nurturing?

We must remember to step away from stereotypical thinking that the Feminine energy is based on reproduction and children. I prefer to view this energy as bringing hope, faith and renewal to otherwise devastated areas of our lives. We should attempt to connect with our own archetype Goddess within ourselves. Remember that some Goddesses have been called witches and some have been vilified by a fanatical religious patriarchal past. You may find yourself relating to a Goddess from a different culture than your own. I suggest that you do your own research about your Feminine Divine Diety and connect with Her. Find your voice. Find your truth. Understand. Learn and express this in your daily life.

As always, I believe that you should keep a journal. Record your experiences and see how you evolve.
