Silver Linings

Dear Beloved,

Change is a normal flow in life and we should recognize when we are being resistant or negative to change. We all have triggers that can affect our moods....and it is important that we recognize what is the psychology behind our behavior. Very often, this is some kind of trauma from our childhood that triggers our reactive behavior today.

Take a moment to recognize 'why' you are behaving like that and allow yourself to forgive your inner child, love your inner child and recognize the messages that you are absorbing into your spirit. Recognize the wounds of childhood traumatic experiences and release them with humor and peace - and it is also important to recognize when you need help from a therapist. There are people trained and qualified to help you through traumatic experiences where you are unable to release and move forward.

There are sometimes, when our triggers can be worked out with our journaling and self introspection and self realization. For these situations I decided to draw a card for guidance.

The card that I drew from The Starseed Oracle was 'Weight of the World' with the following message - you don't need to carry the weight of everyone's problems on your shoulders. We are living in changing times and it's important that we do not feel overwhelmed by these changes. Some of you, may have been trying to help others when you need help yourself-and while this is incredible, you need take care of you. You need to establish firm boundaries and become more conscious of yourself. In doing so, you will become healthier both physically and emotionally.

Maybe, you should not reach for your phone as soon as you wake up, instead consider nourishing practices like meditation, soul inquiry, deep breathing or exercising. Once you are in a state of grace, your inner well is full, you can face the day and care for others. At the end of the day, take an energetic shower by emptying out anything that's not yours to carry.
